Hi to the Forum,

i´m quite new here... want first say hallo to all of you and the awesome Product you have developed!:cool:

At the company i´m working for i was able to implement the RDM Enterprise globally.
Sadly due to the time lag i hade the past months i wasn´t able to work on the Team integration,
but now i´ve started with the first steps.

I´m facing now something i need to ask you guys here for help.

When i have entries inside the private vault (like a session or credential) and i use the search/filter bar inside the global vault
i would like to get entries form the private vault and vise versa.
Meaning to have a filter/search over each and every thing inside the whole DB, where the user has permissions to (Global Vault with different Repositories and the private Vault).

Is this possible somehow to setup or configure?

We are using the latest version of RDM and running it on a Microsoft SQL Server DB.

Hello,

The filter/search will work inside the All Entries tab if the All Entries tab is selected. If you select the Private Vault tab, the search will be performed in the Private Vault tab.

What I understand, you would like to have the session from the Private Vault displayed in the All Entries tab when a filter is active on the All Entries tab?
Am I correct?

yes, thats correct. I know that it works within the All Entries Tab... but is there a possibility to get results back for the private vault as well?

It's not something available for now in RDM. I have transferred your case into our feature request section and our engineering department will have a look at it.

Hello,

We have added the multi-vault advanced search, which performs a search across all vaults, including the private vault. There are limitations though, for example the amount of fields we can search within is limited.

You can access this feature in the "view" tab of the ribbon, next to "advanced search". You can also enable the search bar to perform multi-vault search by selecting the "all vaults" option:
