PassPortal in Offline Mode
What should the behavior of a PassPortal entry in RDM be when in Offline mode. And by Offline I mean truly offline. I am on a customer site. I go into Offline Mode in RDM, my machine does not have internet access only local network access. Does the RDM client cache the last known password from Passportal or does Passportal have to be reachable when I attempt to login with a password being served from there? Feels like it has to be able to reach Passportal all the time. Trying not to store passwords in 2 places.

Hello,
When using an external credential provider, our main focus is to never keep a persistent copy of the data, in fact most of our community requires that.
Our offline capabilities are only for the data we manage.

I understand the logic behind that. Just wanted to confirm that was the case. I'll have to rethink my strategy on syncing PassPortal with RDM.
