Simple request in Continuous Ping screen

Hi

I'm using RDM for quite a long time and I love it!

While using it and sometimes rebooting servers :), I missed one simple additional command: Control-Break, for reviewing Ping statistics.
Also there could be one checkbox for Auto-scrool ;)

Thank you!

Bye, David.

Like CMDs Control+Break:

Just to be sure I understand. You would like us to add a shortcut Ctrl+Break to the Stop button? It's a good idea for the autoscroll by the way.

Hi,

We've implemented the CTRL+Break and the auto-scroll features to our continuous ping. These should be available in the next patch.

Maybe not in the next path but RDM 2019.1.

Hi,

This "autoscroll" is great, but I was thinking on function like in CMD.
If you press "Control-Break" while ping /t is running, you get Statistics and ping goes forward.

Like in this sample:
Reply from 173.194.44.20: bytes=32 time=27ms TTL=50
Reply from 173.194.44.20: bytes=32 time=27ms TTL=50
Reply from 173.194.44.20: bytes=32 time=30ms TTL=50
---> you press [Ctrl+Break]!
Ping statistics for 173.194.44.20:
Packets: Sent = 6, Received = 6, Lost = 0 (0% loss),
Approximate round trip times in milli-seconds:
Minimum = 26ms, Maximum = 30ms, Average = 27ms
Control-Break
Reply from 173.194.44.20: bytes=32 time=30ms TTL=50
Reply from 173.194.44.20: bytes=32 time=30ms TTL=50
...

Thanks :)

Hello,

We will open a new ticket for this feature.

Hello,

This feature should be available starting from RDM 2020.3.16.0.

Using CTRL + Break already stopped the continuous ping so we haven't assigned the statistics to this shortcut. However, a new "Show Statistics" button will be added to the top right of the "Ping" embedded view. Clicking it should give the expected result.
