Dear Devolutions,
A couple days ago, i upgraded the backend to DPS 6.1.3.0 and RDM client 14.1.3.0.
The upgrade itself went succesfull.
however, i have already 10 users (including me) who report that the new RDM client freezes a lot when opening and logging off RDP sessions.
RDM freezes then for like 10 seconds and the continues. Sometimes when you click with the mouse during a freeze, RDM goes to a not responding state.
Any idea what can cause this?
Kind regards,
Valid Operations
Hello,
This behavior could be related to different things.
Could you please go in Help - Submit a Support Ticket and send me both reports? Please refer to this forum thread in the Message section of the submit ticket dialog.
Could you please run the profiler and send me the result with the Send Trace to Support? Please see this online help page on how to run it.
https://help.remotedesktopmanager.com/help_profiler.htm
Please enable the Timestamp option before running the profiler.
Best regards,

Hi Erica,
Thanks for the reply. I have send the two reports and created a support ticket.
Kind Regards,
Valid Operations.
Hello,
Thank you for both reports.
At first sight, just loading all entries in the Navigation pane took 14 seconds. So this could be related to the number of entries in the main vault that are close to 4600. We highly recommend to split the number of entries into smaller subsets to help improving overall performances. You can find more information about Repositories in the following online documentation page.
https://help.remotedesktopmanager.com/datasource_repositories.htm
But some other settings and/or data inconsistencies could cause some performance issues.
I would recommend you to send us an email to ticket@devolutions.net and we will send you a link to book an appointment for a support session to analyze and troubleshoot the performance problem you are currently experiencing.
Best regards,
Érica Poirier
