"Use tree view lazy loading" -> new option in version 14?

Hello,

I noticed in the "Options - User Interface - Tree View " a new option "Use tree view lazy loading". But I can't find any on-line help about it...

So I was wondering what this option should do ?

I noticed the option is selected by default. And I noticed "lazy loading" and it's true by-default. I don't want anything to be 'lazy' ( ;-) ), so what if I switch it off, where should or can I see a change ?

P.S. I have already tested by switching this off, but I don't a change.
P.S. We are using the version 14.1.1 in 64-bit edition.

Hello,
This setting will be removed soon. This was an experimental optimisation to not load all the tree. Previously, all the data was loaded in the tree view (slowing down the refresh) and now it's only loaded when the column is visible.
