Retry button in unable to connect dialog.

Hi Guys

I think it would be great if the dialog used to notify that RDM is unable to connect to the data source would have a retry button.

We only access our data source from behind a VPN, we often get this message when we launch RDM without our VPN open or when we switch from cable to wifi and the VPN is reconnecting.

Any news on this? it's been 6 years but still as annoying to not have a retry button here.

It's not there because it's not as simple as it looks. We catch the error, but it's not easy to re-execute the last action that failed.

Yes well after you are connected, that would be true, which is what the OP is asking for I guess.
But this also happens when you first connect, which be easy to catch I think.

When you click cancel now it clears the cache making it impossible to go to offline when you actually can't get it connected.
This should not happen and would be fixed with a retry or a link to the data source selection dialog.
