Hello,
I have a few Read-Only-Users in our MSSQL-Datasource. Is it possible, that they can use 'User Specific Settings' and maybe 'batch edit' to set User-Specific Settings without granting them write-permissions to the data-source? Which settings are required for this?
Hello,
Your Read-Only Users should be able to configure a "User Specific Settings" on the entries that are stored in your MSSQL Data source. Is it not your case?
That being said, it is not possible to allow them to use the "Batch Edit" feature without granting them the "Edit" permission.
Also, which version of RDM are you currently using?
Best regards,
James Lafleur
We are using 14.1.0.0 and it is as you said: Read-Only Users are able to configure a "User Specific Settings" on single entries but can NOT use "Batch Edit" feature.
I was just not sure, whether the "Batch Edit" is tied to the "Edit Permission" or something else.
We can live with this restriction.
Thanks!
