Just recently updated RDM from 5.5.0.0 to 5.6.2.0. Now receive the following error everytime adding new or editing existing sessions:
System.Data.OldeDb.OleDbException. The count aggregate operation cannot take a uniqueidentifier data type as an agrument.

I downgraded my laptop back to version 5.5.0.0 and everything works fine again.
Hi,
On what type of data source do you use, Access or SQL Server ?

Hi,
Can you try this special build ?

Datasource is SQL server 2000 SP3. I am the server admin. I did set it up using integrated security. Also setup user groups via Active Directory and permitted them to have db_owner role membership.
I'm not a big fan of allowing SA access for stuff like this or using SQL server users. Makes it hard to deny access to people when they all have a shared password.
Just tried using the new build 5.6.2.1. That seems to have fixed it. Thank you for such a very quick response.
Good, but I you might have other problem because RDM does not officially support SQL Server 2000.

I cannot add any type of sessions after upgrade either. I've upgraded from 5.5.1.0 to 5.6.2.0. This is the error message i get. I'm using Access as data source.
Hi,
This is fixed in the release 5.6.3.0.

Hi,
After your reply, I've checked which version is insalled and realized that I've made a typo in my previous message. In fact, I've upgraded from 5.5.1.0 to 5.6.3.0. So I'm using 5.6.3.0 and still getting this error.
Hi,
You're right, it's not the same bug. Can you try to export your session and create a new data source (backup your database before), maybe one connection is corrupted ? Or if you open your database with Access, in the table connection, do you see a connection with all the value null or blank ?

Hi,
I've checked the "Connections" table. All the rows seem to be normal. There are no rows all empty or all null.
I've exported All Sessions List (Including Credentials) from File -> Export menu, created a new XML data source, deleted the MDB data source (I still have a backup of it), and imported All Sessions List to the new XML data source. Everything is working ok now.
PS: One of my friends (who suggested this software to me) just told me that he has the exact same problem.
Hi,
If you don't have any sensitive data (password) or external ip address. Maybe you can send me the old mdb file (support@devolutions.net). If I can reproduce the problem, I might be able to find the source of the crash.
Thank you

Ok, I've sent the old mdb file via e-mail.
I don't understand what might be the problem, I don't get the error. What OS do you use ?
