We want to avoid users to know the serial key for connecting to the database.
I saw you can import the license inside the database itself.
So I did that, but new clients get the message no enterprise license is found when conencting to the database. They have to reenter the Serial to get a connection.
This is based on following: https://help.remotedesktopmanager.com/index.html?installation_registration_enterpriseedition.htm
We use vesion: 14.0.6.0 and use sql Database Connection.
Kind regards,
Günther
Hello,
Just to confirm, are you using version 14.0.6.0 or is it 13.0.6.0? You can confirm this in Help -> About.
I'm asking this because we have a new licensing system in place and the licenses we generate only work with RDM version 14 and above.
If you do have a version below 14, please send us an email to sales@devolutions.net so we can generate a new one that will work for your older version.
The other solution for you would be to simply update RDM to version 14.
Best regards,
Mark Beausejour
Hello again,
Since you use a SQL database, I forgot to include a link on the procedure for a database upgrade;

Hello,
After several tests, the latest version of RDM should fix the issue with the license in the Data Source Settings;

Using 14.0.6.0, but after our Database administrator is back I will check to get this access granted to my account.
Afterwards I will check to upgrade to 14.1 latest release and see if the imported license is working now.
We also just recently got our new license at the end of November 2018, so i guess license should be ok.
Kind regards,
Günther
