Mandatory fields for entries on data source level

Hello,

would it be possible to add the possibility to add mandatory fields for entries at data source level?

As example for the *Certificate* entry the *Expire date* ?

The goal is that every user that add a certificate entry can't be save this without an expiry date. ;)
