double RDP entries

avatar

We have multiple AD imports for multiple locations in RDM. For some reason we see double entries for some AD objects in RDM but in the log we can't see who created them or why they are created. Is this because we have "synchronize automatically" enabled and we run the import manually sometimes?

Hello,

Which version of RDM and what type of Data Source are you currently using?

Also, would it be possible for you to send us screenshots of the configuration of your "Active Directory (Synchronizer)" ?

These screenshots can be sent to us using the following sharefile link:

Hello,

Does this issue persist if you manually delete the duplicate before running your Active Directory (Synchronizer) entry?

Hi James,

If we remove the duplicates and run the synchronizer we still have only 1 entry. So we are not sure when the duplicates get created.

Hello,

This might have occurred at a moment when your CPU might have peaked, causing your Synchronizer to restart and creating a duplicates.
In order to prevent this type of issue from occurring, I recommend that you run your Synchronizer entry manually. Doing so will also allow you to monitor if the duplicates are created in the process.

Do not hesitate to contact us again if the issue resurface.
