embedded Chrome browser: window is completely white when downloading a file

The window is completely white after a download and you can't use the window anymore. I have the problem with the free version under Windows 7 and also Windows 10.

Hello,

Could you go in File -> Options -> Types -> Web and check the Disable RunDLL32.exe usage option and see if this help.

Thank you for information. I activated the option and it didn't help. Now there was an update to version 5.1.1.0. Now the (browser) window is no longer white but closes immediately.

Hello,

Does this issue occurs on more than one website? Is it a private or a public URL?

Also, do you have the same behavior if you open your entry in external mode?

Hello again,

Our engineering department just informed me that this is a known issue caused by the third party we are using.

The current workaround would be to run RDM in Administrator mode.

We are currently waiting for more information from the Third Party in question.
I will notify you as soon as I have more information on that matter.

For further reference, the ticket number is RDMW-1480.
