Hello team,

I'm using Version 5.0.5.0 (64-bit) and have registered on the website. However when I try login to using the Remote Desktop Manager software I get the following:

Hello,

You are trying to access our Devolutions Online Database service, but it doesn't respond. I have checked and I see no downtime on our end.

Hello Maurice,

Please see my answers to your questions as follows:

1) Can you open a browser to https://cloud.devolutions.net and log in to confirm that you can indeed reach our services?

2) Do you have a proxy in place?
Yes we do, however I was not on our Network and I had disabled Proxy setting via Internet Properties | Connections | LAN settings all but Automatically detect settings were un-ticked.

3) The IP you used to post to this forum is listed in South Africa, is this really where you are? We are using a north american zone, it may have just been a transient networking issue.
Yes, I am based in South Africa. I will try tonight again from a completely different Network, but still in South Africa.

Regards,
Darren

Right so something was bothering me about the proxy question and as much as my proxy was off under Internet Properties, etc. I had a look and at some point I added proxy settings on the Remote Desktop Manager application (File | Options | Proxy (Web)) once I removed that, the application worked.

So I apologise for wasting everyone's time, it was a noob mistake!

However, THANK YOU for all the assistance, much appreciated!

Regards,

Darren
