Hello Matthew,

Which version of RDM Mac do you have and which OS version you have? Does it happens often?

And can you try doing a 'Reset Layout' located in the 'Window' tab?

The latest version, I just downloaded and installed a couple days ago. Mojave. Reset layout didn't help. Turning on Dark mode fixed it, but turning it back off obscures it again.

Hi Matthew,

I can't reproduce your issue, neither on the Light nor the Dark macOS theme. I've seen this issue in a random non-consistent way before (meaning that it was resolved by restarting RDM or dragging the right edge of the navigation pane to its left until the it disappears, and bringing it back) but never in a consistent, non-fixable way.

Could you get me a screenshot of your  -> About This Mac window with the Overview tab selected?

Best regards,

Hi,
I have the same issue since the update to 6.x version.
Navigation window is black, I have to close and open again RDM or hide/show navigation.
Despite it is black there are links behind - so I still can open connection by clicking somewhere.

Hi,

And does turning the Dark Mode off like mallen did solve the issue?

Hi,
I will test the behavior with Dark Mode off for while. As the black windows is random it is not easy to test it

I also have this problem, doesn't happen all the time but every other or so startup of RDM this happens. Changing datasource usually shows it again. Im not using dark mode but can try switching on/off when it happens next time
