Hi,
I was working on the construction of my folder tree when suddenly I begin to think about the perfomance of RDM with a lot of entries (more than 4000 in the futur months I guess).
A support member tell me about the repository to expect more perfomance from RDM and the DataSource. I'm just ending to create my tree with folders and I doesn't want to lose time on creating a new repositoryy tree.
I believe a tool can transform a folder to a repository with the permission of the folder can be a good thing ?
Hello,
You could create your Repositories, then move a portion of your Folder Tree to one of these Repositories using the "Move to Repository" feature located in the "Edit" section of RDM's ribbon. Doing so will ensure that your Folder structure is preserved.
I recommend doing a backup of your environment prior to do this using the steps provided in the following link:
https://help.remotedesktopmanager.com/bestpractices_backups.htm
For more information regarding this feature, please refer to this link:

Hello Mathieu,
Moving entries to another repository for non admins would be a feature request - but this is already on the todo list => see here
