Moving a session - freezes the RDM

avatar

Hi RDM,

when i move a existing session via mouse, doesn't matter which kind of session, it gets a back screen on my PC and RDM is frozen for ~10mins.
Afterwards the session is not moved.
I can only move a session using the "Move" from the context menu.

I'm using 14.0.5.0 Enterprise on a Windows 10 Enterprise with MS Access as datastore (connection.mdb).

Is that a know issue or a new one?

Hello,
As far as I know it's a new issue.

Do you have anything in the application logs? Help > Application Logs

Are you getting the confirmation prompt "Do you really want to move this selection?"?

Just took a look at the video you sent me. So it looks like the app won't even allow you to drop the session!

hello Stefane,

you getting the confirmation prompt "Do you really want to move this selection?, no as RDM is frozen..only a full black screen.

In the meantime i have removed RDM and re-installed RDM 14.0.5.0 from scratch but using now the SQLLite as datasource.. So far i can see with the the RDM instance and SQLLite instead of MS Access connection.mdb it works better and i don't see any problems.

Not sure if this happens on my PC with 15.0.4.0 too, but i was not able to recreate the same on colleagues RDM version 15.0.5.0 (SQlLite DS).

I have still my old instance, so i can see in the application log.

PS: let see if other clients report the same issue... at the moment this has no priority for me any longer
