Multi-Select Window for Executing Macros

I notice that if I select multiple items in RDM and then right click select Macros/Script/Tools and select a Typing Macro, it brings up the Multi-Select window.
But if I execute a Typing Macro directly (even with the Allow batch execute option selected) it only shows the single item select window. Can you have the multi-select window come up when executing a Macro directly?
