We have made Client Updates today from 13.6.7 to 14.0.2.0
Now we see wrong (sub) foldernames in the DB. The old clients and mobile Apps cann see the correct Names.
We are using a MS SQL Express Server and the DB Schema is up to date
Do anybody have the same Problem?
Best, Andy
Hello,
What do you mean by wrong folder names?
Are they displaying all the same name?
Is it possible to post a screen shot of this issue?
Best regards,
Érica Poirier
Hi Erica,
thanks for your help. I will send you a private Message with a screenshot.
Andi
Hello,
Thank you for the screen shot.
Do you have an idea where the wrong folder name comes from?
Is it possible that this folder name comes from a folder template?
Best regards,
Érica Poirier
Hi Erica,
the wrong Names appears after the Client Update to 14.0.2 / older Clients at my company with 13.6.7 and the Mobile App on iOS are working fine.
We don`t use folder templates.
I think there ist something wrong with the new Client Version.
Andy
Hello,
Thank you for the information.
Do you have an idea where the wrong folder name comes from?
With the screen shot you sent me, I saw that there is a display issue in RDM 14.0.2. I will send you a SQL statement to run on your SQL database to see if it is a display issue or some data corruption in your database.
Best regards,
Érica Poirier
Hello,
To investigate this issue, we will need further information from one of those folders that still displaying the wrong name.
Could you please select one of these folders, then right-click on the folder and go in View - Entry History? Please send us a screen shot of this dialog. You can send it in a private message.
Next, Select the two most recent entries in the Entry History dialog and click on the Compare button. Could you please send me also this Compare Session Modifications dialog?
Finally, please go in Administration - Pack Data Source. Do you get any rows with an Invalid message in Metadata column when you run the Analyze operation?
Best regards,
Érica Poirier
Hi Erica,
here are the Screenshots. We have 2 invalid Messages, also attached.
If the problem is just a few folder names, we can also change those names manually. There are only a few pieces. Or do you think, the Problem is bigger?
Best, Andy

Hello,
Thank you for the screen shots. I will transfer them to the engineering department. I will keep you posted as soon as I will get some information from the engineering department.
Best regards,

Hello,
Sorry for the late reply. It seems that this error could only be resolved by manually renaming the faulty folders. Maybe 2 or 3 other customers have reported the same issue and they have manually edited folder names to fix this.
Best regards,
