Hi,

I'd be interested in a feature to automatically reconnect to the data source please.

We run RDM on laptops and the 'Auto go offline' mode is great - no errors due to sleeping the machine, losing connection, and awaking it later. However, we need to manually 'Go Online' when waking the machine up.

Being online allows use of the features such as:

Just to understand, you would like RDM to detect every X seconds if it's possible to go back online?

Hi David,

That is correct. Essentially a reverse 'auto go offline' would be great.

Hello,
I would like to ask if this functionality is already implemented?

Our users often connect via VPN to customers and are therefore offline. After disconnecting from the customer they have to manually switch back online, which is very annoying and they often forget about it.

Just came across this, too.
Indeed would be a nice feature after having implemented AlwaysOn VPN.
