Export/Import datasource - doesn't include the Favorites

Hi RDM team,

due some problems with the RDM v14.x i try to rebuild my RDM from scratch, but there a lot work in the current RDM. So i have exported my DS and imported into a fresh RDM.
After the import i can find all my session, but no Favorites. On the Favorites the "Import" is not active.

So how can i import my old Favorites (the Favorites are sessions)?
Why they are not inlcuded in the DS backup/export?

Hello,
The favorites are saved in remotedesktopmanager.ext located in %localAppData%\RemoteDesktopManager but I suspect that the new imported entries don't have the same ID. With a SQL Server or MySQL database, the favorites are saved in the database for the specific user.

Hi David,
many thanks on your response.
i made some tests with the old remotedesktopmanager.ext in the new RDM installation. even i replaced the new one with the old one, no Favorites are visible. :(

Hi as a short update.

the way with the remotedesktopmanager.ext files doesn't works. But on the favorites tab on the bottom is an import/export function. That works as expected.
