all telnet sessions not working, says command not found

where is the Mac forum? I am on high Sierra 10.13.6, using RDMF 5.5.1.0. seems since 11.13.5 -> .6 update to osx, telnet no longer works. I had to reinstall telnet from brew as Mac dropped support for telnet, works fine from my iterm2 shell. how can I get this working from RDMF please? thank you.
my brew version of telnet is /usr/local/bin/telnet

Could you enable the Verbose with a level of 4 and record the Login when you try to connect.
