I would love to see an integration with LanSweeper. Allowing the ability to pull asset and asset information from LanSweeper would make a lot of sense. It would need to be able to keep up with LanSweeper information updates after nightly/weekly scans.
Hello,
Do you know how can we invoke this application? Do they offer a command line, SDK or API?
Best regards,
Jeff Dagenais
It appears not... Their site just shows how to manipulate data in their SQL database.
Hello,
Unfortunately, it would not possible for us to develop an add-on if LanSweeper does offer us a tool to invoke the application.
Best regards,
Jeff Dagenais
Actually CMD is possible. They allow you to run CMD command to call executables with parameters.
Hello,
Could you create a Command Line session type in RDM and test LanSweeper to see if it's opening?

I was referring to actually starting RDM from Lansweeper, not the other way around. I didn't really read the original post properly. Currently, pulling information from Lansweeper would need to be done with either a SQL server connection, or alternatively, if you can import CSV into RDM you can export the data from Lansweeper using a report and then import it into RDM
@Esben,
Thank you for the information's. Honestly, I was confused as well :)
Indeed, it's possible to import data from a CSV file into RDM. For those who would like to accomplish this, I recommend consulting this article first
