Hi,

Is there any plans to support 2-Factor authentication within the OpenVPN Add-on?

Or atleast modify the automatic authentication, so that we can set a custom authentication pattern similar to the Event Macro Auto-Type function?

Example.
{WINDOW:OpenVPN - User Authentication (???????)}$USERNAME${TAB}$PASSWORD${TAB}$PASSWORD:ace36dde-f393-4a3e-ab22-46c484dc8812$

Not sure if we can reference external entries passwords in typing macros, or the correct reference format, but that would likely be needed for 2-Factor Authentication.

Hi Jacod,

I had a chat with the engineering department and we add the feature request on our to-do list.

Yes please.
We have many customer VPN connections on OTP with Sophos SSL VPN and we would like to have them also inside the Remote Desktop Manager.

Hi David,

Our organisation would like to make use of this update for the OpenVPN Add-on - Google Authenticator and we see that it has been added to the beta version. Do you know when it will be realised in an official version.

Hello,

The feature requests for Google Authenticator as 2FA is still in progress. I will transfer this ticket to the proper section to avoid confusion.

When the feature is released, we will inform you.

Hello,

Just as a follow-up RDM 2020.1.19.0 is available and support 2FA, Google Authenticator.

If guys you can test and confirm that everything works fine this will be great.

It works only if you have checked "Clear saved credentials before opening" else it just type otp in password field and password in otp field.
It will be great if this otp token can be taken from OTP Credential entry.

Thanks for the information with the Clear saved credentials. A ticket has been open to fixe it.

Regarding the OTP, could you clarify the demand on a new feature request at https://forum.devolutions.net/forums/17/remote-desktop-manager--feature-request ?

Hello,

The clear saved credentials has been removed, it will now automatically clear them when the autofill is enabled. This was causing issues with regular logins as well, not just 2FA.
