Right handed mouse clicks as left handed user
Hello,
I'm a lefty, so my mousebuttons are switched. (configured in the mouse options in the configuration screen of Windows 10 to swap primary mouse button).
But as soon as I switch to a terminal (RDP) the mouse buttons are configured to right handed (only in the terminal).
I cannot find an option to change that behavior, is this a bug, by design or am i missing an option somewhere?

As far as I know there is no setting for this in RDP. Could you try RDCMan to see if you have the same behaviour? We use the same ActiveX technology.

I manage 100 computers via RDM and have one lefty on the network. When i connect to his system it automatically adopts his left handed configurations (my mouse switches to left-handed on the remote machine). I simply mouse left-handed at that point. I'm ambidextrous and have no problem mousing left handed. FYI, when i move the mouse out of the RDP session window (while opened) onto my desktop or second monitor, the mouse switches to right-handed, i move back into the RDP session (left-handed session), my mouse then is left-handed. I think this is by design.
The lefty in question needed an easy way to switch his system from left to right handed.

I built an EXE that swaps the buttons on an F7 keypress, but you could set the EXE to execute on connecting from RDM and maybe kill the EXE on disconnect (i'm not sure of this, i'm kinda new at RDM).
A native way in RDM would be ideal, i only toss in my 2 cents for ideas to solve the issue.

I'm not sure how we could do that. It's not possible to send command to the destination host directly with RDP.

I'm not familiar with the technical details, but I'm facing the same problem.
However, from experience, I can report that Pierre Doll's RDM Manager for Microsoft Windows (www.cinspiration.de) passed the left-to-right conversion without any problems.
This also wasn't a problem on macOS. Microsoft's own RDP Manager, available in the Apple App Store, passed the left-to-right conversion without any problems.
