Devolutions Server 5.1.1.0
RDM 13.6.7.0 64-Bit
Hello,
we use a Credential repository to access the RDP Sessions.
All user have view rights on this repository.
We use as username in this repository $DATA_SOURCE_USERNAME$.
When I take a look on this repository, I see my RDM login name.
And when I connect to the RDP session, the RDM fills my username and asks for password.
Fine.
But some user doesn't see anything in the Credential repository.
And when this user connect to RDP Server, they are asked for the username.
2. Problem.
We wan't to use the RDM Agent on our RDP Servers.
After I connect to an entry with a jump host, the embeded RDP session opens and ask me for my password.
I try to insert my password, but then opens a window with main focus, "wait for RDM Agent" and i can't insert my password.
Can we have a remote session for both problems ?
3. Problem
I wan't to change the Jump host settings for many RDP Servers.
But Edit / Batch Edit / Edit Entries (General Settings) shows no Jump Host Settings.

Hello Andreas,
I have few questions about your RDM Agent issue.
1- Do you know if multiple processes are started on opening a session on the jump host machine?
2- Could you please try to close RDM Agent and then reopen it? Does it load faster than when you connect on the jump host?
3- Is the RDM Agent installed as a stand alone application or RDM is also installed on the jump host?
For your information, RDM Agent cannot be loaded as a background process or service.
Best regards,
Érica Poirier
Hello Andreas,
About the $DATA_SOURCE_USERNAME$ variable, please enable the Allow data source credential variables in the Data Source configuration (File - Data Sources). This should do the trick.

Only one.

Not faster.
3- Is the RDM Agent installed as a stand alone application or RDM is also installed on the jump host?
RDM full with RDM Agent.

Hello,
Thank you for your feedback and glad that it's working now for the $DATA_SOURCE_USERNAME$ variable.
For the RDM Agent issue, could you please copy the RDMAgent.exe.config file attach in this post into the folder where the RDMAgent.exe file is located on the Jump host? The file is compressed into a .zip file.
Best regards,
Érica Poirier
RDMAgent.exe.zip
Hello Erica,
there was no RDMAgent.exe.config in the directory.
After I inserted this config file in the directory, the RDMAgent connected much faster as before.
Why this file is not normally present ?
Thanks and regards

Hello,
Glad that this file resolves your issue.
We just forgot to include this config file in the package. But normally, it shouldn't cause any problems.
An important line that has been added manually in this specific file is <generatePublisherEvidence enabled="false"/>. This prevents the .Net to validate the Authenticode signature of the RDM Agent on internet.
