Hi,
I've seen some scattered posts about this but I was unable to get a comprehesive guide on how to get this to work.
So I have a customer who uses citrix as VPN. I go to a web site and log on with usr/psw combo. Then I have to provide SMS authetication. Then I get the Citrix gateway page and click on a RDP tool icon. This downloads an .ica file, which I open and get the actual RDP connection open, to which I provide the server, user and password and then finally get to work.
For the remote desktop manager I can get the citrix web page to open using the Citrix Web entry, but I can not log on automatically, even though I provided the credentials to the entry configuration.
I am also able to open the actual RDP if I use the RDM entry for Citrix ICA/HDX and provide the .ica file I get from the citrix web gateway. The problem here though is that the ica filename changes daily. I am also unable to automate authentication for this as the ICA/HDX entry does not have any option for providing credentials.
So can I get the whole thing work better somehow? As it stands the RDM is not offering much use for my Citrix usage

Hello,
From what I understand, in the Citrix Web Entry, even if you set the Username/Password, you will still be prompt for it after launching the connection? Did you check the "Autofill Login" and "Auto Submit" options?
About the Citrix ICA/HDX entry, in General, if you change the option to "Custom Configuration(Embedded mode only)" you will be able to provide login information, let me know if this is what you were looking for.

Yes you are correct, even though I have provided usr/psw to the RDM citrix web entry, the credentials remain empty on the logon page. And yes, I have selected both Autofill Login and Auto submit options.
As for the ICA/HDX custom configuration, I tried to put in the same logon data as I put in to the RDP when I open it from the .ica file, but it does not work. Citrix gives an error about "Unable to connect to the server: There is no Citrix XenApp server configured on the specified address"
Hello,
Regarding the Citrix Web entry, the issue could be with the citrix integration we used. What is the version of your Citrix Server. And does a Web browser entry with the proper HTML Control ID field work?
The Citrix ICA/HDX entry connect directly to the Citrix server. So the host entered in this entry, do you have normally access to the server or you need to open a vpn before?
Also as I could remember, sometime the host include many feature like a specific code. So not only the server ips. Is it also your situation?
