When I have an embedded session running, I currently have to switch to the `Dashboard` tab to see the documentation on macOS.
It would be nice to be able to open further windows with their own tabs (not only for this scenario) and to be able to rearrange tabs in those windows opened.
Just to confirm, this is a request for RDM Mac?

Yes, that's correct.
Haven't worked with the Windows Version so far; is it already possible there?
Hi Andreas,
I'm not entirely sure I know what you mean. At the moment you can drag a tab outside of the main window to create a new undocked window, you can then drag any amount of other tab into that created undocked window:
Is that what you're referring to?

My bad, I could have sworn that I did try that – but obviously I didn't...
Yes, that's the functionality I was looking for; thanks for making that clear!
Hi Andreas,
Glad to hear it! Don't hesitate if you have other questions.

In fact I now do know why it didn't work for me: I was trying to drag the `Dashboard` out of the main window to have it separated... And that does not work–which is not an issue if you are aware that the regular tabs can be dragged out...
Hi Andreas,
Yeah, it might be a bit confusing. This come with the idea that the Dashboard tab can't be closed. And so, neither can it be removed from the main window.
