Hello
Starting from version 4.6.0.0 numlock started not to work anymore. When needed to digit capital letter for a password I must use shift. It's not a keyboard problem because it works for all other programs.
Any suggestion?
Hello,
Do you mean the num lock inside RDM or inside a remote session like RDP or SSH?
Best regards,
Jeff Dagenais
Hello Jeff
I mean every situation when using a VNC session, since the login screen when I can't use numlock to digit uppercase characters for the password. But also when I'm into the VNC session of the Windows machine I can't use numlock.
I made some checks and found that the issue occurs only when using "default VNC" if you use UltraVNC the numlock works.
I definitely prefer UltraVNC and have always used it, but starting from some weeks ago UltraVNC stopped working on all machines (connection was always dropped) but now it looks to work again.
So I'd say that the numlock problem is strictly related to the default VNC connection.
Hello,
I've spoken with our engineers and we will have a look for the Default VNC option.
Just to be sure, you are now using UltraVNC and it works fine for the time being?

Hi Luciano,
I was wondering what VNC server you were connecting to?

Hello Mark
Yes, I'm now using UltraVNC and it works as expected (NumLock works on every situation)
Hello Jonathan
I'm using UltraVNC ver 1.2.21 for most machines. On some I'm using a slightly older version and on some I'm using the latest 1.2.22. All versions works well and I have no issue with NumLock
