I've tried searching and tweaking settings to get this to stop, but I cannot figure out why it's happening. I can log on to any Windows client on my network, but oftentimes, the screen corrupts and will not fix until I move it around and resize things within the session. It's essentially unusable at this point (vs just using multiple RDP windows, which perform fine). I really like the software, but this is a show-stopper, unless there is a setting I can fix. I also run updates to RDM as soon as they're available.
I don't think it's my system, but here are the specs. With my current workload in RDM (about 20 connections saved, 5-10 active at any given time), RDM uses anywhere from 600MB to 1100MB of RAM. My system has 32GB, so that's obviously not a problem. The UI is just not very snappy either. Is there any way to increase performance of the UI? The sessions themselves (when not corrupted) act pretty much like an RDP window, but changing sessions is laggy, as well as things with the entire program... like resizing or moving the window. I don't have these issues with other applications.
Could these too problems be related?
Here are my system specs:
AMD Threadripper 1950X
32GB RAM
SSD drive for OS and applications (Samsung Evo 960)
Nvidia GTX 1070 (driver version 398.36)
Here is a link to a pic of the corruptions:

Hello,
Hard to say if those 2 issues are linked, but chances are that they do. Have you tried to change some options in the Experience tab of your session's property window? Take a look here : https://help.remotedesktopmanager.com/troubleshooting_rdpblurrysessions.htm.
Also, since Remote Deesktop Manager is uses Remote Desktop Connection Manager activeX, it would be a good test to try it through it, you can find it here : https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=44989.
Changing the RDP version could help you as well, see in the Advanced tab of a session's property window, as described at the bottom of this help page : https://help.remotedesktopmanager.com/session_rdp.htm.
I hope this helps,

Thanks for the tips, and the corresponding links. My gut tells me that bitmap cache setting may be the issue. I'm going to try that first. The only thing that sucks is that I don't know how to change them all at once. I'm just going down the line right now, editing and changing.
Also, is there a way to set default settings when creating new connections? That way, I don't have to remember to uncheck the bitmap cache setting (as well as the other personalizations I've done).
Thanks!
Chris
Hi Christopher,
you can edit all at once with the Batch Edit feature.
Mark all your connections => Edit => Batch Edit => Edit Entries (Session Type Setings)...
For the default session settings please use the Template feature

Thanks so much for the batch tip. I wouldn't have found that on my own.
I've been out of town on a work trip all week, but I'm back and testing it now. So far, the only change I've made is to disable the persistent bitmap caching, which seems to have helped. I haven't seen the corruption so far (just a quick blip of it when I initially connect), but I have only just started loading up sessions.
Quick question on the RDP version... would that be on the target server, or the system you are connecting from? Also, when leaving it at "Default", which version would be used?
Also, I'm not sure if you noticed, but all your links have a . at the end of them, and don't work with just a click.
Hmm, batch edit doesn't seem to be an option for me. Is this not a feature in the free edition? I don't see that it is (at least not in the documentation):

Hello,
Indeed, the batch edit feature is only available in the Enterprise Edition of RDM.
If you would like to try the Enterprise Edition, you can request a trial here
