Devolutions Server 5.1.1.0
RDM 13.6.5.0 64-Bit

Hello,
we use the $DATA_SOURCE_USERNAME$ variables for login in Remote Desktop Server.

This variables passes the username@domain.xxx.

Have RDM a variables with only the username ?
The variables %USERNAME% won't work.
Our RDM is in a different domain, as our PC's.

We need it for a few Logins.
Settings on Advanced / Username Format to {User} won't work.

Hello,

This looks like a feature request.

I will move the topic into the feature request section and advise our engineering department regarding this.

Best regards,

Hello,
For which entry type the username format does not work? I suspect that the format is applied before the variable.

We use the $DATA_SOURCE_USERNAME$ in a credential entry (Credentials.jpg).

This entry is then used in the RDP connection (Credentials on Lab Server.jpg).

In most cases, this works fine.

But we have some RDP Connection, we need only the Username. It doesen't work, when behind the Username an @domain.xxx is attached.

Hello Andreas,

We identified the issue with the username format. This will be fixed in the next minor version of RDM. With the change your scenario works for us.
