Running Windows 10 1803
Hello,
We have received emails from a few customers back in December 2017 and they mentioned that RDM crashed since they have updated their Windows 10 to Windows 10 1709. As I can see, you are on 1803.
The faulting module was the same as you; msmpeg2vdec.dll_unloaded.
We found a potential fix from Microsoft via this website, because they have been able to reproduce the same crash with the same faulting module with the native Microsoft RDP (mstsc.exe)
https://partnersupport.microsoft.com/en-us/par_clientsol/forum/par_win/rdp-in-1709-crashes-connecting-to-any-windows-rdp/3b01a1a8-0063-4fa4-bf36-e7ae4b53f0d1?auth=1
The fix is available here - https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/4051963/windows-10-update-kb4051963
I would also like to know if you encounter the same issue using mstsc.exe?
Best regards,
Jeff Dagenais
Hi,
I've been using mstsc.exe without issue.
That fix is not applicable due to it being a cumulative update for 1709.
Cheers,

John
Could you try to rollback to the previous version which was 32bit. I suspect that RDM 4.6 64bit is causing the issue.
Regards
David Hervieux
I have the same issues with RDM 32 and 64 bit and have s support ticket opened ~

@Everyone,
After some researches, it looks like the issue is with DirectX, but I cannot confirm this behavior though.
Could some of you can try the solutions proposed below;
Let me know how that works.
Best regards,
Jeff Dagenais
