Build-in SCP/SFTP - Drag and Drop

Build-in SCP/SFTP - Drag and Drop

avatar

Hello,

I´m newbie with RDM, but when I create build-in SCP/SFTP feature to connect to my server, I can drag and drop only files from my local computer to the server side.

I can´t drag files or folders from remote server, there is only way to right-click and chose "Download", where I have to select destination directory.

I always used WinSCP for these connections, where above mentioned works great.

It´s same with double click for opening files with dont works in build-in SCP/SFTP and I can´t create new file with right click. There is only option to create new folder.

Is there any settings to allow these thinks, or is that just because build-in SCP/SFTP is unusable for basic SCP/SFTP work ?

I wanted to try this build-in feature instead of WinSCP, because It seems to me a little bit faster and better integrated into RDM.

Hello,

I had a quick conversation with our engineering department today and the download/upload via drag-and-drop has been implemented in RDM in our native session type.

What type of session we're you using?

Could you post a screenshot of the properties of the session?

Best regards,

Jeff Dagenais

Hello,
When connect via FTP and SFTP, you can't edit and open files, just download and view.
