Connection Broker trying to redirect not working in imbedded
Hi,
I've setup a connection to our RDS collection and filled the Connection Broker and Gateway parts.
If I open the connection in External mode, everything works fine, but if I open it as embedded i get this error:
Do you have any idea why this is happening?

Hello,
The external Mode uses Windows RDP app. In embedded, it uses Remote Desktop Manager ActiveX (RDCMan). It seems that the RDP might do an extra step that RDC Man isn't.
I would try the FREE RDP Engine within your session's property to see if there's a different behavior (maybe a more accurate error message).
You could also test right from RDCMan to see if this works.

FreeRDP (7.0) works fine.
I get the same error in RDCMan, so it seems to be a problem with that.
Might have something to do with the fact that it isn't possible to set 'use redirection server name' in RDCman...
