ssh login with credentials - retry problem

Hi,

we just had the following case:
We want to connect to a linux machine.
It has fail2ban active, so you will be blocked after three wrong login tries.

We started rdm and selected the connection and started the session.
The credential were asked, but we selected the wrong one.
RDM started the ssh session, tried three times to log in with the wrong credentials and we got blocked.

Is there anything we can do, so that rdm for example tries only one or two times entering the password?
