When going through the RDM tool, right clicking on a folder and saying new entry, I can't find the SSH / Putty / terminal session any longer. I can go to an existing entry that is SSH/Putty and duplicate it to get what I need, but I can't find the vanilla entry itself in the add new entry window.
Hello,
When you add a new entry, simply click on the ellipsis button down on the left and select Show deprecated entries;
We recommend using our own SSH Shell Entry. It is more flexible, and it is easier to add features and troubleshoot;

Hi Mark,
I have used that one before as well and was looking for it. I just enabled the option to show deprecated entries and can now see them but they are the deprecated ones.
Hello,
What version of RDM are you using?
Best regards,
Mark Beausejour
Sorry for the late reply, I was traveling for work and got caught up and then holiday.
Here's the version information
Hello,
Sorry for the late reply. It seems I missed a notification for your reply.
Could you please try reinstalling RDM to see if the issue persists?

Also, is it possible for you to install RDM on another PC or a VM to see if you have the same issue?
Best regards,

Hello,
As an addition, is it possible that in File -> Options -> Types -> Availability, the SSH Shell session has been hidden?
Best regards,
Mark Beausejour
Mark,
That was exactly it and I have no idea how/who would've disabled that. Is that a client specific or datastore connection specific setting? If it's client, I must've been looking at something a long time ago because I don't remember ever looking at that specific screen.
Either way, that was it. I can see the connection now that I've re-checked the ones that were missing from the list.
Regards,
Terry
Hello,
The File -> Options section is local.
However, if you use an Advanced Data Source such as SQL, the Administration -> Data Source Settings section is at the data source level.
In any case, thank you for your feedback!
Best regards,
Mark Beausejour
Thanks, friend guide about it.
I just came about that post having the same question, yet in the end, I said, I will give RDM native client a chance, and must say it was a wise decision.
