Hi,
When opening RDM, and there was some connected sessions, last time it was closed, it's asking to reconnect. That's a nice feature.
But if one of the sessions was connected with credentials from the vault, it doesn't reconnect with those credentials (but my user-setting-creds).
Not sure if it's a bug, or a feature-request, but it's a little annoying... :)
Cheers,
Anders
Hello,
Sorry for all the questions, I would like to try to reproduce it internally.
Best regards,
Jeff Dagenais
Hi Jeff,
Using the lastest version (13.5.8.0 64 bit), but it was also a problem in previous versions.
The session itself doesn't have a credential assigned by default. I have made "User Specific Settings" with ,y personal credential from my private vault.
But in this case, I want to access the session with some credentials stored in the "global vault" (the default vault, where everyone in our organization have access to).
Hope it answered your 3 questions. :)

Hello,
Oh ok, so the sessions are connected with credentials from the User Specific Settings, you close RDM and at the reopen, you would like to reconnect the same sessions, but with different credentials from the All Entries tab? Does my thinking is appropriate?
Best regards,
Jeff Dagenais
Hi Jeff,
Sorry if I wasn't clear enough.
I'm connected to a session with credentials from the shared vault.
What I'm doing:
Right-click on a session -> Open with Parameters -> Open (select Credentials)
Then credentials from the first tab "Credentials".
Then I'm at some point closing RDM, and next time I'm opening RDM, and it's reconnecting to sessions, it will use the credential I have set with "User specific settings" - the same credentials it's using, when I'm just double-clicking on a session.

Anders
Hello,
Unfortunately, it's by design. RDM can't remember the custom credentials when it's restarted. I will try to think of a solution but this is not a simple scenario.
