I'm using RDM with my Domain Admin user. Due to security reasons I had to change the logon name (the SID did not change). Ever since the next logon to RDM following this change, I cannot access my Private Vault. Is there a way to gain back access to it?
Hello,
What type of data source are you using?
If it’s Devolutions Server, please provide us the version as well.
Best regards,
Jeff Dagenais
It's MS SQL. v1.414
I tried to rename back temporarily the user to the old logon name, but it didnt solve the problem: in the Data Source Information I saw that the Database user stayed the new one and the "User" was the old logon name. The problem is I'd need the old Database User.
Hello,
I will send you in a private message the SQL statement to allow you to modify the old username in the database and set it with the new username.

For the record: Erica sent me the script which solved the problem perfectly. I'm a satisfied customer, thank you ;)
Hi,
I have a couple of users which require name changes as well. Would I please be able to get a copy of the SQL statement so that I can update them correctly without fear of losing their private vault and configurations.
Hello,
Could you please send us an email at support@devolutions.net with your RDM version?
I guess you are connected to a SQL data source, right?
Best regards,
Érica Poirier
Yes, we are running a SQL data source, and I have emailed support.
Thanks for that!
Hello,
An email has been sent from support@devolutions.net with the SQL statement.
