Terminal services error x.224 using RDM only

I have one server where I cannot rdp into using RDM. Its a server 2008 R2 machine and all RDM states its that its unable to connect to <Servername>. I check the event log on the server and I see these two errors related to Terminal Services.

Event ID 56
The Terminal Server security layer detected an error in the protocol stream and has disconnected the client. Client IP XXX.XXX.XXX.XXX

Event ID 50
The RDP protocol component X.224 detected an error in the protocol stream and has disconnected the client.

I can connect using Microsoft RDP client just fine. This seems related to the 13.5 update of RDM as this connection was working fine in the past.
