Memory leak

We're aware of some memory leaks. Four days for it to reach from 300 some MB to 900 some MB is not really that surprising.

Except for launching RDP sessions, is there any other notable thing you've been doing those 4 days?

My XML file in which addresses for connections are stored. Also I used only Microsoft RDP, but at the file there are https and ssh types.
For once I use no more than 10 MSRDP connections.
In total in the XML file there are 350 records.

This is on our Todo list. There is some difficulty with profiling, so it might be a while before we can start seeing some notable improvements.

Since your last answer (12 months) have you worked on the memory leak issue ?

I use the last version (6.2.1.0) every day and have huge memory leaks if i keep the software open (last day 9Go with only three rdp open).

Open RDM this morning, so since 8h with 3 RDP Win 2016 sessions and RAM up to 5,6 Go :(

That is unexpected. Has opening those 3 RDP sessions the only been the only thing you've done in RDM?

This is especially surprising since the RDP sessions are actually run in external processes (if sandboxing is on, which is the default).

Yes this is the only thing i've done yesterday.

I find Sandbox option, is this necessary ? I can try to disable it (no sandbox option) if you think it's ok.

Hi Samuel,

No, it would be better to leave it on. It can prevent crashes from RDP to terminate RDM. If anything, disabling it would be more likely to exacerbate the issue.
