Version: 13.5.0.0

With this version Repository Setting moved from Datasource Setting.

I can set repository position to default, above or below navigation. No mather which setting I chose, I don't see a menu for switching the repository.

Hello,
what data source type do you use?

In v13.5 you no longer set the repository in the data source configuration.

The navigation pane now has a drop down with the repositories that are accessible to the logged in user.

This allows for faster switching between repositories and doesn't require you create a data source for each repository.

Also note that RDM will remember the selected repository, so when you close and open RDM the data source will open on the last opened repository.

What DVLS version are you running? The DVLS version needs to be at least v4.9.7 for the drop down to be visible.

DVLS is at Version 4.7.0.0.

Accorind to DVLS Upgrade instructions I first have to upgrade to RDM 13.5.0.0.

What's about Password Vault Manager 9.5.0.0? Is this version compatible with newest DVLS?

avatar

Hello,

Password Vault Manager version 9.5.0.0 is supported by Devolutions Server 5.

To upgrade Devolutions Server instance, you need the Devolutions Server Console that is available on the following download page.

The online documentation has been updated.

So what is the Upgrade Process to RDM 13.5.0.0?

First DVLS? Or First RDM? Is there a way around this issue?

This Page does not describe the Order.

I the release Notes of RDM stands, that DVLS 5.0 is recomended and Database upgrade is required.
I have none of them.

So i think i first had to upgrade DVLS and than RDM.

Hello,

You need to first install or upgrade the DVLS Console, then upgrade DVLS and finally update RDM on workstations.

We will update our online documentation.

I currently have installed RDM on DVLS Server. And i still need RDM Powershell Modul on DVLS Server for automation Tasks.

Should i install both? DVLS Console and RDM?

avatar

Hello,

You need to install RDM for the PowerShell module.
So, yes you need to install both on this machine.
