Since version 4.5.2.0 of RDM Free, using the reconnect function makes RDM hang forever. See gif below:
Hello,
Thank you, we'll take a look at the issue.
Regards,
Hubert Mireault
The fix has been made internally and should be available in the next RDM build, 13.5.1.0.

Great news. :drop:
Thank you Hubert!
Hi,
Just upgraded to RDM Free 4.5.3.0 and I still have this issue.
This is strange, I can't reproduce in our environment since RDM Free 4.5.3.0.
Would it be possible for you to send me an export of your SSH entry without the host/credentials? There might be a setting that interferes with the reconnect.
Regards,
Hubert Mireault
I attached the file.
Note: I have the feeling the pre-4.5.3.0, the bug occurred 100% of the time, while now it is occurring 50% of the time.
SSH demo.rdm
Hello Otiel,
What kind of machine are you remotely connected to?
Best regards,
Alexandre Roy
Hi,
The SSH demo is a connection to an ESXi shell (VMware). I also reproduced the issue with a Debian and a Ubuntu distribution.
Hello Otiel,
I wasn't able to reproduce the issue like you did.
Is it still that frequent for you ?
Best regards,
Alexandre Roy
I just did a test: out of 20 times I tried Reconnect, 16 times ended with RDM hanging.
I discovered something new though: the problem only appears when using the "Reconnect" context menu on the tab (as shown on my gif on the top of this post). When using the "Reconnect" context menu on the treeview or the "Reconnect" keyboard shortcut, it works correctly.
Hi again,
Do you think you can send me your remotedesktopmanager.cfg without the datasources?
I imagine an application option might be causing this.
I belive we asked you this once before but Ill give you the link on how to proceed.
Please follow these instruction to send me the configuration file https://help.remotedesktopmanager.com/howto_configurationfile.htm
Best regards,
Alexandre Roy
Here you go.
I obfuscated my RegistrationName, RegistrationSerial and the DataSources.
RemoteDesktopManagerFree.cfg
hi,
Thank you for the .cfg file :). I am now able to reproduce the issue again.
We're going to investigate the issue.
Thank you.
Best regards,
Alexandre Roy
Hello,
Denis made a few more changes that should help. They will be available in the next build.

Hubert Mireault
Forgot to give you a feedback: this is fixed for me. Thanks for the resolution. :)
