Typing macro with radmin
Dear all,
We are trying to implement RAdmin with RDM. To log in the help proposes to use the typing macro.
The typing macro works fine on the local machine (e.g. to a notepad) or also through Remote Desktop to a notepad and similar. However when we try to use it with RAdmin, it only transmits stuff like "{TAB}", {ENTER} and so on. Normal characters are simply omitted. This can be seen on the logon screen or also inside a logged in machine using notepad again.
Any idea why this is?
Oh, we use RAdmin 3.5 and RDM Enterprise 13.5.0.0

I'm not sure why it does not work but I know that we have a similar issue with Team Viewer. Could you try to create a script with AutoIT and verify if it works?

Hi David,
I'm not that familiar with AutoIT scripts. Could you elaborate what you had in mind? I only found out how to execute them directly on the main system itself or through RDM agent. That obviously works.
I'm not an AutoIT expert but I mean just try to create a script to send some keys hard coded and verify if it works. You can try this without RDM in the Radmin window just for a test.

sorry for the later reply on this. With AutoIT and a normal RADMIN window this works like a charm. Any idea? Has a previous version of RDM worked with this?

I don't know what they do different than us but it's not the first time I see this. The workaround is really to use autoit.
