RDM agent speed up, TeamViewer screen parameter and TeamViewer full screen
Hi,
We are setting up a TeamViewer connection (through a Windows terminal server) using a jump host (rdm agent).
When the connection is made and (eventually) the TeamViewer session is started on the jump host the rdm agent takes a long time to start up. Obviously part of the time is caused by starting the jump host (it is not active so has to be started) but at some time we can manually start programs while the rdm agent isn't active yet. We have to set the time out to 120 secons. How can we speed this up?
Is it possible (we couldn't find it in RDM not in TeamViewer) to have TeamViewer connect to a specific screen directly without having to select this in TeamViewer after start ?
When TeamViewer starts it is not full screen. Can we influence the TeamViewer window to start full screen on the jump host?
Groet,
JP
Hello,
TeamViewer doesn't offer a proper API so that we can launch TeamViewer with specific parameters, so it's not possible for us to influence the TeamViewer window size.
Sorry about that.

Hi Jan-Pieter,
Your only option to have the jump be faster is to not close (logoff) the Windows session between jumps. Windows will reuse the same session hence RDM & RDM Agent will already be started along with all other auto-start applications installed.
As for the speed of starting RDM if you've installed it via the .msi/.exe you are good. If every you used the .zip to copy the files you could run the attached file. It will Ngen.exe (Native Image Generator) the files for a faster startup of RDM.
