I have noticed a couple issues with the docking of the Description window. If the Description window is NOT visible, it will not update with the Description information saved in my RDP session, but if I have the window as floating, it does.
Next issue is I have as my first line of my Description "RDP Password: $PASSWORD$" and I have the option to "Allow password in variable" checked in my properties. The Dashboard shows the right information, but the floating Description window still shows $PASSWORD$.
Am I doing something wrong or are these both defects?
Thanks!

Hello,
This is an optimisation to avoid a refresh on a non visible docked window. For the description it's not a big deal but for other information like Attachment list it could slow down the application. Why it's a problem if the description is not visible?
For your second issue, it's a security limitation. We don't expose the password in the description.

Thanks David for the reply. I work from home, so having the password display wouldn't be an issue for me. Was looking for a way to have the RDP password visible for when the session times out and I have to re-enter my password, it's visible and I don't have to go hunting for it in properties.
Hello,
sorry for jump in but if you need this for RDP sessions, you can set the Reconnect mode to Full - if your session are locked and you select Reconnect, it will automatically handle over username and the password - so you need not to enter it manually. (and of course not to write down in the description ;) )
