Remote Desktop Manager 5.0.0 for Mac will not open RDP connection using Engine V5
As the title says, I am running RDM 5.0 on a Mac and it will not open a RDP connection using Engine V5. Is there something I am missing, or that I should do to get this to work? I would run V4 for now, however there is a ton of screen repainting when running V4 and I was hoping that was corrected in this latest release. When opening this using my PC and RDM, everything opens perfectly fine.
I am running Enterprise Edition v 5.0.0
thanks,
Brian
Hi Brian,
Are you having this issue on other RDP sessions? What is the OS version of your remote host?
Could you setup your RDP logs on the faulty session, run it and post back with the file afterwards? Here are the instructions: https://helpmac.remotedesktopmanager.com/howto_rdplogs.htm

I am running this on MacOS High Sierra: 10.13.2.
The remote systems I have tried to connect to are running anything from 2008R2, 2012R2, and 2016, and none of them have worked.
Regarding RDP Logs, can you elaborate a little? Do you want me to send you the RDP logs (TerminalServices-LocalSessionManager) off of the machine I am trying to connect to?
--EDIT-- Nevermind, I missed the link you gave in the first post.
thanks,
Brian
Here are those logs. Let me know if you need more.

Thanks Brian,
We'll look into those.

Hi Brian,
One other thing. Could you generate your log with the Engine V4 and post back with it? There is something I find suspicious in the log, but I find it surprising the issue is just with V5.

Attached.

Hi Brian,
Thanks for the logs.
I think I have a clue as to what the issue might be and it has to do with the way security negotiation settings are set in the Engine V5. We'll look into this and post back when we find something.

Hi Brian,
Could you try this version: https://www.dropbox.com/s/r70ibteamwyn2r5/Devolutions.RemoteDesktopManager.Mac.5.0.0.1518096190.dmg?dl=0
And tell me if this fixes your issue?

That seems to have corrected the issue. Thank you for your quick response.
