vmconnect is now located in a "version-folder" and is renamed

I don't think we can currently support using regex when searching for the installation path. I do notice that we don't support overriding the executable, but we can easily add that. This should allow you to override the config to use "vmconnect6.3.exe" instead of "vmconnect.exe" for example.
Do you think with that it would help you?

that would help for now, but with the next release (version 6.4?) you will have to update it again.

It would be nice, if it was possible to specifiy the complete path and not only the "path to where the .exe-file is".
Or if RDM would search for the wildcard "vmconnect*.exe" or "vmconnect???.exe" (just like "Net-SNMP").

So for a quick fix please add "vmconnect6.2.exe" and "vmconnect6.3.exe" and update the default path to the "C:\Program Files\Hyper-V\6.3".

Please keep me updated when this fix is available both in beta and stable releases.

For the next beta version there will be the override default executable option. For VMConnect specifically, if you put an asterisk in the executable (check the screenshot), it will search for the first match that it can find.
The default path will also be changed to 6.3.

Unfortunately we can't allow the same for the folders at the moment due to how RDM is structured, so I hope this will help you for the moment.
