Cisco Telnet with pre saved password

avatar

Dear All

I have cisco switches and routers in my company and I use telnet to access
Them with password only.
How to setup remote desktop manager to access them without asking for
user and password and also enter enabled mode without ask for password
- I mean save the password in remote desktop manager before -

Thanks

We ban telnet as its insecure.

Enable SSH on all your Cisco devices instead, and use SSH to authenticate - SSH also has the "After Login Commands" option to push "enable" to console.

We have 400+ Cisco switches configured with SSH / RDM autologon - personal credentials are inherited from top network folder.
