Hi Everyone,
since RDM 13.x i have the Problem that at every logoff from a RDP Session, it always jumps back to the Dashboard.
Settings etc. are the same as the latest 12.x that was installed.
Actually the 13.0.12.0 BETA is installed.
I Tried to delete the *.lyt files but nothing changed.
In the Menu there is the option "Dashboard automatic focus". Now it is unchecked but it always jumps back to the Dashboard after the Logoff.
Does anyone has the same?
Regards
Martin
Hello,
If I understand correctly, you have multiple RDP sessions opened, and when you log off on one of them, instead of going to the next one in line, it goes directly to the Dashboard is that correct?
Etienne Lord
Hi Etienne,
yes correct.
It can be telnet or other too. Its the same behavior.
Most time i logoff from a server and switch to the next opended session, which is already opened. I can work on them until the logoff is finished and the session is closed automatically. Than the RDM jumps to the Dashboard.

Hello,
Would you be able to send a video of this issue to support@devolutions.net ?
Etienne Lord
Hi,
mail is send to you.

Hello,
We will do some test in order to re-create your issue, we will keep you updated!
Etienne Lord
Hello Etienne, I have the exact same problem. How can I fix this?
Hello,
We haven't pinpoint the exact cause of the issue yet, could you send us a video of the issue to support@devolutions.net and we will have a look!
Etienne Lord
I don't have a video but I can describe it exactly as Martin described. When you logon Server 1 then Server 2 then Server 3 and you logoff Server 3 the RDM switches to the Dashboard tab instead of Server 2 (which came before Server 3). I did this on a Windows Server 2012R2. Strangely enough I don't see this problem on a Windows 10 machine, where I copied my AppData\Local Devolutions and AppData\Roaming\Devolutions folder to Windows Server 2012R2.
Hi Maurice,
temporarly you can fix this when you install the latest 12.x Version :)
I have installed the 12.6.8.0 and everything is fine again.
There must be a change in the 13.x Version which causes the issue.

Martin
But I cannot explain why this behavior doesn't occur with my Windows 10 Pro system...
Hello,
Could you try the latest beta. I've made a fix for something like this.
Regards
David Hervieux
Unfortunately it didn't help, I'm at 13.0.6.0 for weeks now.
@Maurice,
The lastest beta is 13.0.14 and this version can be downloaded here
https://remotedesktopmanager.com/home/download#Beta
Could you give it a try?
Best regards,
Jeff Dagenais
Oh I'm sorry, I didn't see there was already a newer version on the website. But unfortunately, it didn't fix my problem. Even worse: When I updated my Windows 10 Pro machine with this beta it now has the same problem! :(
hello,
This issue has been reproduced now,
It only occure if you run RDM on a windows 7 pro OS, The workaround that I can give you for now is to set a different RDP engine as this is only happening because of the windows 7 active X version. I suggest using FreeRDP 7.0, worked great so far for me.
To change the RDP engine go in *File > Options > Types > RDP* and all the way at the top you can change the settings RDP 8.0 to FreeRDP 7.0.
We're going to look into the issue and see what we can do.
Hope this helps.
Best regards,
Alexandre Roy
