Hi,
I've used Remote Desktop Manager daily for a couple of years now and there's one feature that I especially miss (which SecureCRT has).
Feature: It's the ability for a non-active tab (or it's font), running a SSH/telnet session, to change colour when there's activity on it (e.g. tcpdump or tail output).
Example: I have multiple SSH sessions/tabs to the same box where I'm doing web development. In one of the tabs I 'tail -f' the web server error log and in the other I write code. If the tab changes color I know that something has been written to the error log and I don't have to switch to that tab to check it every time I make changes.
Even better if I can configure it to change to one color, say blue, when it detects activity and then after a configurable amount of time, say 10 seconds, it changes to another color, say yellow. This way I know that there has been output/activity on that tab and how recent it was.

Dánial
Hi,
I will enter a feature request for that.

Are there any plans for incorporating this feature in any specific release?

It's still on our todo list but not implemented yet.

+1 for that feature request. :)
Still waiting this feature to be implemented...Thanks.
Hello,
Could you test if the "bell behavior" option set to "sound" or "visual" triggers at the right time for your use case:
If it triggers at the right time, we could add an option to change the tab color instead of producing a sound / flashing the RDM window. What do you think?

I don't see how this could provide the requested feature. Isn't the "Bell behavior" active/applied only when the tab is in focus?

Danial
You're right, I think I misread the original issue. Currently we're not able to do this but we will work on adding a new option. A ticket has been opened and we will keep you updated.
