Moving Folders in RDM - Mess up
Hi,
last week we had a session with erica and
fixed our v-folders and duplicate-folders.
then everything seemed alright.
so I moved folders in RDM to another folder one level up and deleted the old underlying folder.
today we saw that rdm says we have duplicate-folders again.
and when we take a look at the affected folders it seems that in "Folder"-Field they have the correct path and
in "Name"-Field they have the full old path.
i attached you an example.
as i'm admin i'm able to fix this again with moving around and powershell-deleting duplicates,
but as a lot of users are doing their work too it's not very amusing for me to be the cleaner every night.

I have made some tests and doesn't have any problems or issues with Duplicate Groups.
I am not sure if it is related or not to the script I sent you to convert the virtual folders into physical folders. Could you please send me by email your own PowerShell script that you use to convert virtual folders? I will test with your script if I can reproduce this behavior.

This issue has been resolved. @Markus installed the same RDM version on every machine to prevent problems using old versions.

Hi,
thank you for updating.
ATM it seems to be, that mixing RDM-Clients from 12.5.X.0 up to 13.0.X.0 caused that problems.
I forced everyone to use 13.0.6.0 and now there are no v-Folders & Duplicates.
